I have been fortunate to work with amazing talented teachers and students, and to learn from them. I believe that a never-ending learning is the most rewarding thing about being a teacher.
One of the strongest skills I was able to develop throughout my career is learning design and curriculum editing. I have been involved in the Experiential Learning and Learner Capabilities Development Team at Otago Polytechnic (Auckland Campus) and Te Waka Urungi team of learning designers at Unitec Institute of Technology. I helped lecturers to redesign course materials and activities focusing on creativity, skill-based, and students’ self-regulated learning.
Since 2011 I have been teaching a variety of marketing papers across Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics and in New Zealand, focusing on innovative approaches in course design and delivery. As a Learning Designer, I have been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate course development for different disciplines, including social media and digital media marketing.
Currently, I’m working as a Professional Teaching Fellow in Marketing and a Digital Marketing Course Coordinator (stage 3 courses) at the University of Auckland Business School.
